Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs)

Welcome to the Jaaz Car Rental L.L.C-FZ website. These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between Jaaz Car Rental L.L.C-FZ and its clients regarding the use of our car rental services in Dubai. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read these terms carefully before making your booking.

1. Purpose of the Agreement

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) define the conditions under which Jaaz Car Rental L.L.C-FZ, with its registered office at The Meydan Hotel, Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E, offers car rental services to its clients. This contract is concluded between the lessor (Jaaz Car Rental) and the lessee (the client) upon the booking and acceptance of these terms.

2. Car Rental Services

Jaaz Car Rental provides vehicles to clients for a specified period, subject to the terms outlined herein. Our services include:

• Provision of the reserved vehicle, ready for use on the agreed date.
• Flexible pick-up and drop-off locations (airport, hotel, residence).
• Standard insurance included in the rental, with additional coverage options available.

The lessee is required to adhere to the pick-up and return procedures as well as the driving obligations outlined below.

3. Booking Conditions

3.1. Age and Driver’s License Requirements
To rent a vehicle with Jaaz Car Rental, the driver must be at least 21 years old. Some vehicles may require a minimum age of 25. The driver must also present a valid driver’s license. For international drivers, an international driving permit or a license recognized by the authorities of the UAE may be required.

3.2. Required Documents
At the time of vehicle pick-up, the lessee must present the following documents:

• A valid ID (passport for non-residents).
• A valid driver’s license.
• A credit card in the lessee’s name for the security deposit.

3.3. Payment Methods
Payments for bookings are made by credit or debit card through our secure online platform. Prices are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT. Additional charges, such as extended rental periods or additional insurance, will be added to the final amount of the booking.

4. Vehicle Pick-Up and Return

4.1. Vehicle Pick-Up
The vehicle can be picked up at the agreed location during the booking process (airport, hotel, or residence). A vehicle inspection will be carried out at the time of pick-up to note any pre-existing damages. The lessee must confirm the vehicle is in good condition before signing the rental agreement.

4.2. Vehicle Return
The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date, time, and location as specified in the rental contract. Late returns will incur additional charges, calculated by the hour or day based on the current rate. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition and with the same fuel level as when it was picked up.

5. Insurance and Liability

5.1. Standard Insurance
All vehicles rented by Jaaz Car Rental come with standard insurance. This covers damage and injury to third parties. However, it does not cover damage to the rented vehicle or theft.

5.2. Additional Insurance
Additional insurance options are available to cover damage to the vehicle, total loss, and theft. These options can be added at the time of booking or vehicle pick-up.

5.3. Excess/Deductible
In the event of an accident or damage to the rented vehicle, the lessee is responsible for paying the insurance excess, unless they have opted for a zero-excess insurance option. The amount of the excess is detailed in the rental contract.

6. Vehicle Use

The lessee agrees to use the vehicle in accordance with UAE laws and regulations. The use of the vehicle is restricted to the territory of the UAE unless prior written consent is provided by Jaaz Car Rental. The lessee agrees to:

• Not use the vehicle for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Not drive under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
• Comply with speed limits and traffic regulations.

Unauthorized use of the vehicle will result in additional charges and may void the insurance coverage.

7. Cancellations and Modifications

7.1. Booking Cancellations
The lessee may cancel their booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up, cancellation fees will apply. Specific cancellation terms can be reviewed at the time of booking.

7.2. Booking Modifications
The lessee may request modifications to their booking, subject to vehicle availability and applicable rates. Any changes must be confirmed by Jaaz Car Rental in writing.

8. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same fuel level. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge will apply in addition to the cost of the missing fuel.

9. Penalties and Additional Fees

• Late Return: Late returns will result in additional charges based on the hourly or daily rate.
• Loss of Equipment: Any loss of keys, documents, or equipment (such as GPS or child seats) will incur additional fees.
• Fines: The lessee is responsible for paying any fines related to traffic or parking violations incurred during the rental period.

10. Disputes and Jurisdiction

Any disputes related to the rental of a vehicle from Jaaz Car Rental will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
